French Montana was finally discharged from the ICU on Thanksgiving Day, and this week he’s updating fans on his health and forthcoming album. Montana was hospitalized for severe stomach issues and an elevated heart rate last month on November 21, and on Thanksgiving he explained that he would be released from ICU, saying: “Thank you Everyone for all of the prayers, love and support. I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time.”

The 35-year-old announced that his anticipated MONTANA album would be released on Friday, Dec. 6th. French posted on social media claiming that the “music was keeping his spirit alive.” “CANT KEEP ME DOWN !! Been workin hard on my new album and I’m so proud to announce it’s coming THIS FRIDAY !!! #MONTANA The music is keepin my spirit alive. THANK YOU to my fans, love y’all for ridin with me thru this journey.”
